Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Wash, hull, and slice your strawberries. Peel and chop the banana before placing both in a freezer-safe bag overnight.
  2. Add your whole milk and plain Greek yogurt directly into the blender pitcher. Putting liquids at the bottom helps the blades spin freely without jamming.
  3. Drop the frozen fruit pieces right over the liquid. Add the honey, chia seeds, and vanilla extract if using.
  4. Secure the lid tightly and start your machine on low speed. Slowly increase to high until the mixture looks silky smooth.
  5. Pour the thick mixture into tall chilled glasses. Garnish with a fresh strawberry and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Tip: Use a blender tamper or stop the machine to scrape down the sides if the frozen fruit gets stuck. Skip the ice as it waters down the flavor; rely purely on frozen fruit for a rich, velvety texture. If your drink feels too thick, splash in a little extra milk instead.
